PricewaterhouseCoopers looking to relocate to Williamson County Tennessee
The third largest accounting firm in the country, PricewaterhouseCoopers, is currently looking for space in the Brentwood/Cool Springs area to open its offices.
The firm left the area five years ago but is returning as a result of the giant health care industry of around 100 companies in the county.
Healthways Inc. has announced that it intends to relocate its headquarters to Cool Springs. The technology, intuition, Life Sciences company has had a Nashville presence since 1981. Plans are to break ground in April 2006 and have the building complete by Sept. 2007. It will be a five story, 230,000 sq. ft building composed of about 50 percent rock on the exterior.
The rising number of healthcare companies in Williamson County, around 175 businesses, continues with the news that HealthSpring will be moving its headquarters to the Cool Springs area in Franklin.
They recently signed a lease for 20,000 square feet of office space at 9009 Carothers Parkway, the former Ford Primus building, with hopes to expand its headquarters staff.
HealthSpring is a managed health-care company that provides benefits to employers in Tennessee as well as Medicare beneficiaries.
