Be Professional by Getting Organized

Having a lot of money while also having a lot of time means you have to develop top notch organization skills.

You need systems to plan, prioritize, delegate and categorize information. How will you remember names of clients' children, their birth date, when clients are on holidays? You won't remember unless you have a system.

For these reasons, a daytimer is a must. If you don't plan, time becomes one big overlapping jumble of things to do with no focus.

Along with your daytimer, you should have a CRS (Client Retention System) for ultimate client cataloging and organizing. A CRS quickly allows you to reference who your clients are, important information about them and their lives, when to contact them, and more.

Take a look at your work space; do you have control of your environment?

Office clutter causes mental noise that drains you of your best energy.
Gain time every day by working smarter, not harder. Don't lose quality contacts because you forgot to contact them, or get frustrated because you forgot a meeting. True organization allows you to relax in the long run and focus on being successful.

You have got to be organized in this business if you want to see real results.

How to "Be Professional & Get Organized"

1. Acquire the right tools (Daytimer, CRS, color-coded files).
2. Learn how to use your tools efficiently and make them a normal part of your work flow (habit).
3. Don't waste time! Focus on money-making situations (ie. belly-to-belly with quality clients).

Wow, you definitely were talking to me! I like your mention that office clutter is mental noise, how true. I have been thinking of the contacts I lost in this slow time because I didn't have a good system to keep track. Not something I can afford to lose.
