Service comes from the heart....

By
Real Estate Agent with Windermere Bay Area Properties

I received this in my email box tonight and thought it really was worth sharing.  We forget that, at times, its the little things that count, its the little things that turn into big things and the little things that can create lasting memories.  How many times does a past client remind you of something you said, or did, that you hardly remembered doing or saying? It was a small gesture, or something you felt was insignificant, but it was big to them.

I had a client, and I'll never forget this, thank me 3 years after they bought their house because of something I related to her as to my view on parenting.  She said I changed her perspective that day, and thanked me for making her a better mom.. it was something I had said in passing... something I had said a million times before in my peer counseling related to new moms.  "A need met, is a need fulfilled."  Anyway, the story behind that really is a whole other subject, but suffice it to say... I felt so honored to have played a part in their LIFE, not just their home buying experience... and after all, isn't a house more than just a place to live.

Anyway, here's the video I was sent tonight, enjoy... I thought it was thought provoking... perhaps your thought for the day as it was mine...

Hi, Catherine!

I enjoyed reading your story and the video as well!  Thanks for sharing them.

You're right, there could always be something that we could share to others, not just to clients, that could just mean something to them in a way that's inspiring or encouraging.  Having said that, anyone of us could just be earthly angel to others (at least even just for momentarily).

Kindness and sincere thoughts are always welcome.  The effect of "Food for Thought" in a person could last a lifetime, and when properly digested could even stir up waves or to cause ripples...  Isn't that beautiful?

That brought tears to my eyes.  It just reminds us to give customer service from the heart, that is what will touch people and make them spread the word.  That video was awesome.

Hi Catherine -

Loved the video!  I think that's the second time it's passed by me.  Wonderful - Thank you!

And that touchpoint for that past client?  That's my reason I like blogging.  You never know what you said that made the connection, and sometimes it isn't what you said, but what your blog said about you.

Thanks for sharing!
