You have to love Colorado! I am a native and the climate in Denver, CO just can’t be beat, in my opinion. We have 4 seasons, 300 days of sunshine, some of the healthiest people in the nation and sometimes you get all 4 seasons in a week. We just had this happen. Over the past week, we’ve had lows in the 20’s (winter), record highs in the 80’s (summer), in-between temperatures with rain and changing leaves; 60’s (spring &; fall). Where else can you golf on Saturday and Ski on Sunday?
I am personally a fan of winter and we usually look for the first snow around Halloween, albeit usually a small one, it tends to mark the change in season. We have had a crazy summer with lower temperatures, extremely wet conditions and so far the pattern is rolling into winter. Two ski resorts are open with one of them opening the earliest in history. We just had a pretty good snow in the Denver metro area for this time of year and looking out my window I see about 6”!
Now this will be gone in 24 hours because that just how Colorado is-Jacket in the morning and shorts in the afternoon.
