This week let's take a look at what the market is doing in the Hempfield School District by doing a year to date comparison between 2009 and 2008.

                                       HEMPFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT

The numbers above show why it is so important to have statistics run for your particular area versus Lancaster County as a whole. Although parts of the county are showing some small signs of improvement when comparing 2009 with 2008, in the Hempfield School District we are seeing not only a lower average listing price but a corresponding lower sales price as well. Although these numbers may frustrate you if you are considering selling your Hempfield home remember, it is always best to be armed with accurate, up to date information so that you can price your home right with the guidance of your real estate professional.
