New Orleans Historical Perspective # 7 Hotel Monteleone

The roof top pool is not a secret anymore! I've never been to New Orleans, but always wanted to go. I live in Memphis and I've heard a lot of stories from people who had at one point taken the train down to New Orleans and then spent a long weekend there etc. Always sounded like a really fun trip. I've also read a lot of Anne Rice books and I can just picture what the trees look like there so well. I'm curious to at some point match up her writing description with an actual visit.
