Large Item Collection:  Each resident served under the City program is eligible for free pickup of one large item once each calendar quarter on their regular collection day.  An example of a large item is a piece of furniture, an appliance, a piece of small equipment, a  lawnmower (fuel and oil must be removed), a barbeqaue grill, or a mattress.  Freon-containing appliances are not included as a free item, but we will collect them for a fee.  Customers may not “accumulate” free item collection.  In other words, you may not have three items collected free-of-charge during the third quarter of a year because you did not have any collected during the first two quarters of the year.

That is a lot of trash. We should practice garbage control in our own homes. In sun city, we have houses that are built also for environment friendly purposes.
