Neighborhoods in Washington, DC

Washington, DC is an extraordinarily beautiful city with miles of history, gorgeous architecture, more educational institutions than probably anywhere else (think Georgetown and American Universities), world-renowned medical facilities, fantastic restaurants, a lively theater scene, and acres of parks and green space - there is truly something for everyone here! Best of all DC has many lovely neighborhoods - whether you want to be in the thick of things in a condo in Penn Quarter or U Street, in the affordable and lovely rowhouse neighborhoods of Petworth or Brightwood, or relax in suburban-like splendor within 15 minutes of downtown in Chevy Chase or Crestwood. It's really up to you.

Rock Creek park(Rock Creek park runs from through DC, to MD.  It's common to see wild deer and other animals, right in the middle of the city. Lovely!)

DC Metro area includes parts of Northern VA and Southern MD as well. Many people commute from these cities to DC daily for work and vice versa.

Washington, DC can be an expensive city, but having sold homes in most of DC's neighborhoods, I can assure you that there are great neighborhoods for every budget and homes in every price range.  So let's begin our DC tour!

What a nice overview of the area. I grew up there and love when I get to go back. I got a little feeling of nostalgia. Much success.
