I receive The "Insight" Economic News of Utah and the Nation. I read in Vol. 13 No.1 today that Utah economy is expected to continue its transition from a painful recession to modest economic growth. That would be in line with the slow improvement in a majority of the nation's states. I believe that is true.
Our own Iron County experienced a 12.11% rise in the average price of homes sold in 3rd quarter over 2nd and a 34.59% increase in the number of sold homes in this same period of time. That is a great sign for the housing market in our area!
Are other REALTORS in the country seeing the same signs in their states and areas? I believe 2010 will be a great year for recovery even though short sales and foreclosures still represent a large portion of our homes for sale. How do you feel?
