John - Now if only enough will decide that there is a battle to fight we may make some progress. But I also know that we have a battle just educating the electorate. Another Churchill quote describes our problem, "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.

I have to agree with Dick Morris about not relying on Democrats to do the right thing.  If it comes down to it, a Dem is a Dem is a Dem, and will vote the party line.  Nelson was going to vote for it, he just wanted a deal a' la Landrieu.

I for one will never give up. Help me understand Dick Morris? Wasn't he a key man for Clinton? Did he wake up or what?

You are right, Mike. Dick Morris was a key campaign advisor for Bill Clinton. He is a frequent guest on Fox News with Sean Hannity, I think. He primarily interprets polls and predicts voter behavior. By his comments, he appears to me to be conservative now. I very much respect what he has to say.

I have not heard a story on how he may have changed. Is it possible that he was working for Bill Clinton on a professional level only?  It may be worthwhile to read the content on his website.

To facilitate the fight - we need to reach out to those states that will be battleground in 2010.  Educate our members who live there.  Get people involved at local levels to form movements to defeat the enemy of our freedoms.
