Holiday Happiness

By

Well fellow Active Rainers another Christmas has come and gone and from reading all the blog posts we all survived.

I had a wonderful time with my grandchildren. I kept them for Five days, at least two of them, before Christmas and had a wonderful time.

Went to my sons Christmas Eve for a few hours and then up the mountain to Eagle Co. before Santa could get there. My daughter is due to have a baby, and could not come down the mountain, and my sons work schedule did not give him time to go to her home.

My grandkids love to play together and there is nothing that makes me happier then having them together.

We had lot's of snow and a winter storm watch so the driving was not good to my sons. Thank goodness the mountain roads were not as bad, they did not get much snow right before we left.

Success to all.

Good to hear that all went well ! I believe that Christmas is for kids (big kids too) and it is always a blessing to see them get excited about the season.

Sounds like a fun, low key down to earth day! Family is everything. Can hear my kids home from college laughing in rec room and lots of their friends in the home make the place change from house to home.

Terri:  Sounds like you had a wonderful and busy Christmas!  And it sounds like it's going to be even busier next year with a new baby on the way.  Glad to hear that you survived the holiday ... and '2009' so well.  Hopefully '2010' is better, busier, and more prosperous for all!
