How do you use GOOGLE? Most of us use google as a search engine. Whenever we're trying to find something online we "Just GOOGLE it" by using that little icon at the top right of most of our screens.
But did you know that google can be used for a lot of other t
hings besides as a search engine?
Here are some other ways to use Google:
- As an online dictionary - Just type in define:word and google returns the deinition
- As a calculator - Enter a formula and google returns the calculation.
- Conversion rates of money - Type in the monetary unit to monetary unit e.g. USD to lira and it will give you the current exchange rate
- World time clock - Type in Time in city and google returns the local time in the city you specified.
- Local Movie Showtimes - Type in the name of the move and the zipcode of the city and google returns the showtimes of where that show is playing within the zipcode.
- Search for Music files - Type in inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:"index of" +"last modified" +"parent directory" +description +size +(wma|mp3) "title here" and google returns the places the title you're looking for can be found.
