How to make the most of your Day.

All of us worry about things at some time or the other. It stops us from enjoying the day because we worry about what may happen . I read a poem by an Indian poet Kalidas when I was in school and though I do not remember the enitire poem, I remember the last paragraph which I had memorized .

' For yesterday is but a dream

And tomorrow is just a vision

And today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness

And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well therefore to this day!

 

Such is the salutation to the dawn.'

What a beautiful poem for you to share and for me to begin my day purposefully.

I've never given TODAY as much respect as it deserved. Almost always chasing for tomorrow before tomorrow represents a fresh start and a clean slate. But I forgot that I didn't have to wait for tomorrow and that I can begin today. There is no better time than NOW.

There is no tomorrow. Then, everything else seems to fall into place.

Michael, I agree. A friend once told me that you can not think of two things at the same time so if an unpleasant thought comes to mind think of a pleasant thought and you will feel better. It works.
