A Realtor whom I have worked with in the past recently contacted me because she wanted me to stage her new office space. Her company has moved to a new building and she wanted her new space Staged! She stated to me that she wanted her space to be warm and inviting. She wanted it to feel like a home away from home. She wanted to feel excited when she came to work. She wanted me to personally shop for accessories and décor for her office space. She said that she wanted clean lines and a more contemporary style. Her office is small in scale not much bigger than a normal office cubicle. I kept this in mind while choosing items to stage her space.
Office Space Before

My staging plan was to keep it simple yet stylish. I also wanted to provide her with some storage to keep all of supplies and papers organized. I didn't want her space to be cluttered or have too much stuff in it; therefore I chose a few key pieces. After all she still need to have ample desk space to do her work. While I was Staging her office she took me around the office to meet the Realtors that were working (I staged it after 6 pm so there weren't many there.) A lender that works with their office also approached me, he suggested to me that I attend their vendor fair that they have coming up in the future. He explained to me that during the vendor fair I would be allowed to set up a display and table as well as give a 5-minute talk to the Brokers and Realtors! I told him it would be my pleasure to be a part of their vendor fair. Hip Hip Hooray!
This is the finished product. My client was very happy with the way that her office space turned out. It is clean, simple yet stylish. I used accessories that were contemporary with clean lines as she requested. She called me today to say that she has received many compliments on her office space and has been passing out my card to other realtors in her office all day. Kudos to me!
