It's been a busy month - both with home staging and other outside projects. It's time to get back into the groove of blogging again.

Thought we'd start by sharing some photos of a house that we recently staged in the Forest Heights neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. Synergy Staging was brought in to help this home sell quickly as it had been on the market vacant with no offers. While we always recommend staging a home before it hits the market, it is never too late to make a home show it's absolute best. The tri-level aspect of this home makes it a bit more challenging for potential buyers with the large amount of steps, so creating a feeling of luxury and sophistication was important.

Regarding Andrew's comment about the room looking bigger without the furniture ... some of those wide angle lenses do that. Then you go to the home and are disapointed that the room is not as big as it looks in the photo. The picture with the furniture puts everything in perspective. Good job David.

Hi David, Very nice job, as always! I like how you used the ottomans with the side chairs in the living room to show the expanse of this room, but made it feel cozy. Often times those large rooms are more of a staging challenge than very tiny rooms.

Andrew ~ While it may have looked bigger, the vacant room is deceptive for potential buyers who may be disappointed to find the room is not exactly what they expected. Having the room furnished gives a proper perspective to those coming to look at the house.
