With each click – from state, county, neighborhood to street – data appears on the screen. Broad satellite images of a town soon become recognizable streets, populated with icons of available houses. By moving the cursor over a particular home, a pop-up window appears with a photo and brief summary of its specifications and asking price. After zeroing in on a home or community, visitors can then click on icons to display the location of such conveniences as dry cleaners, grocery stores and the local post office in proximity to the home.
