The April Cape Coral Homes Sales number are out and they continue to hold strong.

Active Listings went down....albeit not by much....but the good news is they are not going up.
Closed Sales for April came in at 557......and today is only the 5th. With a lag in reporting, I expect there probably is more like 600
homes that closed in April. Will know this for sure by the end of May...and will update the report.

Hi Mike, Great news for our area. Do you think this is due to the tax credit or all the publicity on SW Florida's high rate of foreclosures? Buyers for the homes we've inspected have told us their main reason was that they thought the market was at or near the bottom and they didn't want to miss out. I hope this is the general concensus of our buyers throughout the summer. jay
