GDC is a major player in the construction industry in Northern Virginia. Their dump trunks are always visible on the roads. I have no idea how many they have, but I have seen them with numbers in the hundreds. They have a massive truck repair and storage facility on Dumfries Road in Manassas VA. This rebuilt 1930 White flatbed with a whiskey barrel sits at the entrance - no it isn't there after they close for the day.

Hi Karen,

You have to love these vintage vehicles. If it were possible that during it's heyday, everything that truck observed from all of it's sides was stored in a video archive, wouldn't it be fun to see it all. The people, the streets the stores, the land, the hard times, the loving times, despite it all, it sure would have been fun to have seen what it observed. I wonder how it would strike us today?
