It's suppose to be 107 degrees in Vegas and I would rather be in Venice Beach California ...

It is going to be very, very HOT in Las Vegas Nevada and I am so glad I am not working for the next few days. We are going to Aria (City Center) swimming today and Lake Mead tomorrow ...

but I would much rather spend time in the area displayed in the photographs.

I stopped by Venice Beach in California before I picked up Nu Nu and Sherry several days ago and I hadn't been to Venice Beach in almost 30 years boy I the years are passing by.

If you are ever visit California and are by LAX Venice Beach is only minutes from the airport and it is very interesting, fun & exciting!

The beach photo at the top of the page was taken around sunset on a week day, this same beach over the weekend will have hundreds of thousands more people over this weekend.

Bob, Venice Beach looks great - especially when it's 107 degrees! I am so happy for you and Nu Nu. Looking forward to seeing photos of the whole family together in the USA.

Robert...we were there many eons ago; it was beautiful then but it was actually too cold for 'beaching'. Must tell you, we did not see that "Babe" advertising the restaurant; believe me if we had, I would have taken a photo of Sal standing close--too close to her. She is definitely there. LOL  Hope that you do go back and that the "going home-back again"  is a fun experience for you. Have a good weekend.

I do remember playing at Venice Beach many, many moons ago and it was so fun. It can get cool at times but anything is better than 107+ degrees in the desert!

Hi Robert, 107 degrees sounds pretty hot, and summer is just beginning!  Venice Beach looks like a great place to visit and cool off.  I hope you enjoy your weekend.

I'm glad that's not me with my finger in my mouth. LOL

When you're in Venice, take a walk along the residential streets that have canals. Very interesting and beautiful.

VB - I love the heat, but 107 degrees is a tad too hot for me.
