Realtor sees our work at another staging and calls us in.......after we staged this condo, she's converted!

We were called in to give this space some new life by a Realtor who had taken a client through another property we had staged.  She saw our work, picked up a business card and promptly called us in to stage a condo she was just listing.  This poor condo was in rough shape and seeing as it is in a very funky area of the city with a ton of competition, it needed some real punch! The green and white was mirrored throughout the property, including the deck and it looked fresh and inviting.  She was so thrilled with the work and already has another potential client for us....love when they see the light :-)

No doubt she's thrilled and converted.  It looked like a storage unit in the before photo.  LOVE those conversions!  Great job Lisa

Lisa I just noted...why is this members only?  Why aren't you getting your work out there for the public to see?

Love it. It's perfect! Congratulations on a job well done.

I agree with Ginger. Why is this post members only? This wonderful makeover is worthy of more attention from the world at large.

Hey Kevin,  I haven't priced it out for buying all th items. I do know that it doesn't make sense at all to buy the items in most cases though.  For example, the dining table and chairs cost about $250 per month to rent and the 2 pieces of art would be about $90 per month to rent.  To buy those two pieces of art, it would cost approx $800, so that would be about 9 months worth of rental to pay it off!  This property will not sit that long, I can assure you!  The idea of renting furniture for staging is that it is appropiate to the space and the homeowner does not have to love it.  When you rent items, you don't need to worry about them working in the nw home, only that they work here, to sell THIS space.  Hope that answers your question?

Ginger and Donna, thanks for the great comments, haven't really thought about why I never post to the public? Guess I should look more into that :-) Thanks for the suggestion.

Lisa, whoot, whoot - way to go - love to hear success stories like this!  Do you leave your business cards when you stage a property?  I haven't done this, but perhaps should start.  Love the green.

Lisa:

This small dining space looks amazing!  Less is more and it sure is inviting.   It is nice to see what the creativity of a Professional Home Stager for this type of space can do.  This is a great before & after. Thanks for sharing with us.

Nice Job.  I agree with the others you should be showing the public what you can do.  The best advertising possible.

Hey Lisa, you need to upgrade your main pic to a high def quality image so it shows up on the BC roster, right now no pic shows which means the image was not high enough quality.  I had a similar problem with my lethbridge real estate blog pic a while back.
