If you're planning on building your dream house, or just looking to do a small remodel of your current home, the EnviroHouse offers hundreds of ideas, materials and techniques to create a healthy home and environment.

For people interested in "green" landscaping, the EnviroHouse garden offers many great site and landscape ideas, such as a water-efficient irrigation system, rain barrels to capture and reuse rain water, composting, use of native plants, and synthetic turf made from recycled tires.

Tours of the EnviroHouse are free of charge, so stop by to visit next time you're in the area.

My roof is too new to replace with tires, LOL, but I am looking into solar panels for the roof. We already have the bamboo and marmoleum floors, tankless water heater and energy efficient appliances. I believe everybody should do their part to try to make our entire planet more environmentally friendly.
