Home Stager with Classic Designs Home Staging

Being relatively new to the business of Home Staging in Knoxville is quite confusing. Do I try to "wing it" and do everything on my own or do I try to enlist the assistance of the seasoned pros in my area.

Since I don't know any of the seasoned pros in my area, maybe this call will help get things started. Hello out there all you Knoxville Home Stagers and those who work with them...do you have regular meet and greet sessions? Do you help each other with the everyday issues, marketing, tips of the trade, do's and don'ts?

This is a great place to be and a great business to be in and I would really love to get to know my peers.

hi Bonnie ~ welcome to A/R! Be sure to join all of the staging groups here (Stage It Forward, Home Staging Before and After Photos, Staging Works, Staging Successes, Real World Home Staging for Newbies, etc.) to help you connect and network with other home stagers around the country. For your local area, find out if there's a RESA chapter near you, or an ASHSR Chapter. Both groups offer wonderful opportunities for home stagers to connect and discuss all the issues you mention in your post. Good luck and keep blogging here on A/R!

Thanks Maureen, I have already joined several of the staging groups. I'll double check for any I may have missed. I don't beleive there is a RESA chapter in this area, but I have contacted the ASHSR chapter and hope to join them in their next meeting. I had no idea there were so many people who are willing to share their experiences to help someone else succeed! This is a great site and hopefully I'll have the time to visit it at least once a day.

Last time I checked there were no RESA or ASHSR chapters within 90 miles of me! So, AR has been a wonderful means for staying "connected" with the Staging and Real Estate communities. No doubt you will also see the value in this forum as you participate.
