Yesterday, I took my clients to see a house they were interested in, in Lakewood, Colorado. I had a little trouble finding it - I drove right by it the first time.
Can you see why?
And yes - the inside was just as lovely! (Evidently, the family room functioned as a dog kennel, with no cleanup service.)
This is a foreclosure, so I'll bet the lender is going to get it cleaned up. Plus, I doubt the city of Lakewood would allow it to continue to fester with weeds if someone lodges a complaint. But the seller should remember that it's extremely hard for buyers to envision a house like this as their home.
The place did have a nice hilltop location, large lot, and some views. Would be a nice property for someone who had the money to remodel after closing. It's a tri-level, the garage was converted into a room so there's no garage currently.
