Of course, like most people, I have danced, in fact as a much younger man I was quite the 'bopper' but as the years passed the act of dancing increasingly confused me. Why do people jump around and shake body parts that increasingly shake on their own without the need for musical help? And why do it publicly? You only have to watch "America's Funniest Video's" to see the danger of the act. I know I risk being called unsociable, miserable or just plain weird but to see it from my perspective watch a video of people dancing and mute the sound. It really is a weird, animalistic act no matter how much people enjoy it. But it can be put to good use.
Creative, original marketing is rare, especially in real estate. We highlight instances on this blog whenever possible (see the next blog post), especially if the creative source is an AgencyLogic customer (they happen to be the best!). Our hope is that they will inspire someone, anyone, you (!) to think a little differently and to do something new, something that will make people smile, make them think or ideally make them act. And so to a video along those lines.
While you'll never see me on the dance floor I can't help but smile at the following group of predominantly middle aged, office workers who are doing everything they can to prove white people can dance while simultaneously bringing attention to an important political issue; Government cuts in cancer treatment spending. The video is fun, engaging and personally I couldn't stop myself from clicking on the link to their Facebook page to find out more.
So the question is; what can your real estate office do to get attention?
