HELP! I'M BURNING MYSELF OUT!

Do you eat, sleep and drink your work? Do you find you're having trouble shutting off your brain at night, thinking of ways to increase business?

You need to learn to disconnect from it all once in awhile or you will burn out.

All that brainstorming will do you no good if you make yourself ill.

Force yourself to take a vacation, and leave the laptop home! The work is not going to fall apart in a few short days, and no, going to a conference and bringing the family does not constitute a vacation. If you can't afford that much time, try to take at least one day a week for yourself.

You need time to rejuvenate and recharge. Disconnect and be aware of your surroundings. If your surroundings are work related...leave! Find somewhere totally unrelated to your business. Put work completely out of your mind. Look at it as "Dr.'s orders".

You'll find that this will make you more productive. Less stressed and more able to handle any situation that comes your way. You may even be able to sleep without one thought of work running through your dreams.

You may feel like you're going through withdrawal at first, find yourself being pulled towards the computer, that's why leaving the work environment is so important.

Can you survive it? Only one way to find out!

You'll be glad you did.

Since I work mostly out of my home I've learned to take a break and exercise...by the time 5pm comes around I fix dinner work a little more and settle down with my husband....by 10pm I hit the bed and I'm fast a sleep.....Exercising has increased my energy and quality of sleep.

Excellent advice.  De-stressing, whether through exercise, vacation, sleep, or diet are important to all-around well being.

Amen Ladies Amen. I get it. We all want to be the SuperWomen (Men) in our jobs. But eventually, it will catch up to us. Knowing our strengths and weaknesses and knowing when to say "I need a break", will only help you be that much more successful.

Shine On...
