Old Priest Grade has been closed since July for road work. They were suppose to be ready to open up by Labor Day Weekend. Unfortunately there are delays and they will not open until the end of September. New Priest Grade of course is open. Lot of people will be travelling up and down the road to Yosemite so please drive carefully. Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

There have been a few too many accidents on this steep and windy road. They are making it safer so if it takes a few more weeks I am ok with that!

Yes drive safely on this holiday weekend. Many will be traveling to Yosemite via this route, it takes a little longer with the road closure but worth the wait to make Old Priest safer.
