Limit my time
One of the things I like about being a Realtor is that I am my own boss and set my own hours.
For a couple of years, I worked at an office where I only went to pick up my checks or for meetings that I organized. With ZipRealty, I go more often, as it is closer to my house, and there is some sort of training going on pretty often. I also go there to make copies and send faxes. I went there today to do just that fax and copy a contract that I am working with. Three hours later, I have my copies and finished faxing contracts along with answers to many questions that I had regarding a couple of contracts that I have going on, plus having chatted with some friendly coworkers.
I love our office because our broker is very knowledgeable and her door is always open. I have come in tears some times and have left ready to face the world thanks to her support and pep-talks. But today, I had a busy day, and all I wanted to do was to copy and fax. Three hours later lots of rain, and many of the things that I had to do today just got moved to tomorrow.
I just finished my 30 blogs in 30 days, and one of the tings that I was able to accomplish along that goal was to limit my time reading blogs. I think that I will do the same when I go to the office on days like this. Limit my time.
