The First Bank of Beelzebub . . . How The Foreclosure "Freeze" Might Be SERVING UP Ice Cubes In HELL For a Few Naughty Banksters

Carla get's fired up by this blog.  She wants justice.  Justice for all.  All the American people who are tired of big bank bailouts, companies walking away from their obligations, while the rest of us suffer in silence.

What do you think?  Is the Foreclosure Freeze serving ice cubes in hell?

I've got more questions than answers... all I know is it is what it is, and I can't change it.

Okay, so I read a very-well written post by Leslie Ebersole.  (She's a great blogger, and I encourage subscribing to her!)  I wrote a comment.  I didn't mean for it to grow legs.  Then a nice email from Allison Stewart who suggested I post a blog with my comment.  So I will.

But first, the post title . . .

J. Philip Faranda wrote a comment on Leslie's post:  "Well, it is cause for optimism if you were about to lose your house and weren't getting anywhere with First Bank of Beelzebub."

OMIGOSH . . . I'm still laughing on that.  My eyes are stinging a little, because I laughed so hard my mascara ran.  And if that's not enough, he's brought us:  "The First National Bank of Satan" and the "Seventh Ring of Hell Savings

And in the "foreclosure freeze" . . . won't Devils in Hell want ice water??  When I write "serving up" . . . I hope they do get "served up" with:  A nice, cold, SUBPOENA -- on the ROCKS!!

Anyway, here's my comment from Leslie's post:

I'm neither an optimist or a pessimist.  I'm a realist.  The foreclosures have undermined the market, and it's another reason to detest the banksters*.  1) for home owners who were/are not in default, the values of their homes declined.  So even without even trying to sell, or short, or do a loan mod, home owners across the nation have seen the values on their property fall, and fall rapidly.  They are still stuck with paying their mortgages -- the majority of home owners are paying.  2) The banksters stalled short sales, and made a lot of money in so doing.  They get paid for "servicing" the loan, collecting fees from investors, etc. and foreclosure was the Ace up their sleeve.   And they played that card, those cheaters.   I've had listing agents tell me that their short sale listing would get a full price CASH offfer, and the banks would still decline the deal -- the owner was foreclosed.  This happened all across the nation, the deliberate stall.  3) Then . . . the loan modifications which were supposed to HELP families.  Another bankster SNAFU.  Home owners would go into loan mod on the trial period, then get their loan mod denied!

All the while, the banksters GOT HELP!!  They got HAMP, BAIL-OUTS.  Their "sweet heart" deals that Indy Mac got . . .

Don't you think that people with mortgage insurance, PMI, who had to take it out to get their 80/20 never made a claim?  You know why . . . did we forget already?!?  AIG tanked.  Hmmm . . . the biggest mortgage insurance carrier just happens to go insolvent the minute that the morgage insurance SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAYING OFF THE DEFAULT MORTGAGE.  After all, that's why the lender required -- REQUIRED -- the home owner on their 80/20 loans to have this in place.  People/borrowers paid for this.  And then . . . AIG tanks?!?  Am I the only one that finds this ironic.

So that's why we had to have those TAX PAYER bail outs.  And dispite this, the banksters totally spit in the face of the judicidal system . . . they robo-signed and sent fraudulent documents through the court.  Lawyers did this.  Banking "systems" in place this did.  It's corrupt.  It's racketerring.  It's fraud.

And we all cry "Oh we want people to go to jail."  Well . . . let the foreclosures stop for a moment so investigations can be done, subpoenas issued, assets ceased . . .  I WANT the states to go after them.  The ATTORNEYS GENERAL ARE INVOLVED.  THAT'S HUGE!!  They are ball busters.  If that means breaking up B of A, Chase, etc. so be it.  They ruined lives, caused grief and hardships on countless of millions of people and their families . . . they used each and every one of our mortgages as a "securitized" investment vehicle.  I've bought property, I have a mortgage.  I don't remember them asking me for my permission to use house my house for their personal means.  I AM PAYING A TON OF INTEREST TO THEM for loaning me money . . . JUST AS MOST HOME OWNERS WITH A MORTGAGE ARE.  My interest payment isn't enough!??  They had to try to make EVEN MORE.  Well, now I want my pound of flesh from them.  How they've used my mortgage, my down payment, my investment and tried to parlay that for their investors.  I don't remember seeing the "disclosure statement" on how my mortgage would be pimped out to some investment fund in Iceland.

Do I want justice?  YOU BET!!  If justice means putting a halt on the FRAUD, I'll wait.

Is my real estate practice going to be affected?!?  It already has been . . . but I would RATHER the right thing be done, and those who SCREWED US SHOULD BE PUNISHED!!

This was fraud.  From the mortgage manipulation to the forclosure flaws in the documents.  Fraud.

They can not allow this to go on.  It MUST BE CLEANED UP.  Those who perpetuated this HAVE TO BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE.

I will wait!

I will SHUT UP and stop worrying about my business if it means that JUSTICE will be done.

I will put the best interests of the home owner in front of my own fears as a real estate agent.

As Steve & Carol #3 say.  This is a GREAT business.  I love what I do.  I'll go work on a dairy farm until it's all straightened out . . . BUT IT MUST BE DONE.

And I pray that there will be the grinding and gnashing of teeth for what they have done to this GREAT BUSINESS and to this GREAT COUNTRY and to our GREAT PEOPLE.

*I'm adding this for the record:  I detest BANKSTERS.  The people who work for them, however, are people and in the trenches trying to make a living, just as we are.  They have families and are hard-working folk.  The ones at the top, the CEO's, Executives, the ones that sign the checks to their LOBBYISTS in D.C., those are the CFO's of the Bank of Bellezabub.

Hi Susan,

That was a true rant.

I loved it.

Why is it not fraud if you are a politician or if you are a big bank?  If a small business or a regular person did anything like what the banks and politicians do we would go to jail.  I would like to see some of them go to jail.
