Just yesterday it seems I was wondering what would become of the sleeping baby in my arms and somehow he is turning 21 today. You made it through the maze of childhood firsts and navigated the teen years without detouring down any really dark roadways. Now you are almost done with college and looking at the next phase of your life.
You were my first child and are my only son. You make me so happy and proud with all you have done so far. I know that making decisions about where to head next are difficult, heck I still don't know what I want to be went I grow up! Your future is something that keeps evolving every day of your life. I know whatever it is you choose to do, you will do it with success.
Happy Twenty First Birthday Daniel. I hope your day is wonder filled and your future is so bright you have to wear shades. I love you.
Happy Birthday Daniel. Kids are king, family is what we are all about after you take away the things in the hurry scurry life that don't matter much when you boil it all down.
Happy Birthday to Daniel. Paddy, congratulations on raising a son who has successfully conquered college and is ready to start his adult life.
(P.S. I received the mail you sent and will call you.)
Paddy what a nice post to Daniel and I hope he has a terrific 21st birthday.
Happy Birthday, Daniel!!! I love your post, Paddy and your picture. What I don't like is that you got me a little teary eyed this morning thinking about Liam's future. Um, I don't want him to grow up!!!!!
Oh Paddy! That was a wonderful tribute to your son! One day, I'd like to be just like you when I grow up! I hope your son has an awesome day. (And I hope you do, too!)
Thanks so much for all your good wishes. I miss this so much. Will definitely try to stop in more often. My other blog goes slow and gets no comments. I keep plugging away though. TTYS
Paddy, what a lovely tribute to your son. My youngest, also a son, turned 22 today and I'm feeling kind of sappy too. THe time just went by so quickly. Wasn't it just yesterday that they were born?
