0% down first-time home buyer mortgage
I just spoke to Natalia Wilchowy of KeyBank Mortgage in Burien, Washington about a great mortgage program for first-time home buyers.
It is a 0% down payment loan for the purchase of a home. It requires a minimum FICO score of 620, a $500 transaction fee and one-month reserve for principal, interest, taxes and insurance (PITI). No private mortgage insurance (PMI) is reqired. The seller can pay a max of 3% toward closing or pre-paid items. It has a fixed interest rate and terms up to 30 years.
