Nancy, beautiful picture.  As a child, I used to look at the clouds and try to make believe I could see all sorts of shapes, animals, and things.  I have always loved looking at all of the cloud formations.

Great shot. I hope they get tired out before they reach Florida.

Thanks Vickie - I love to look at shapes in the clouds too & now my granddaughter enjoys doing that with me!  :)

Hahaha Robert - I think our Olympia area clouds must just recirculate over this area most of the winter so Florida is probably safe!!

Nancy, we still have Canada geese "practising" in our skies over Victoria. There was three large V formations just this morning as I was coming out of the house to go to work. Love their honking!

Nancy, funny I was looking for the geese...and perhaps I should be flying south before the snow falls.

Ted, the geese are fun to see (& hear).  I saw just a pair fly over our house a couple of days ago - don't know if they were meeting up with more or what...

Hi Mickey - yep - just cloud "geese" in this picture - though maybe I can grab my camera fast the next time some real birds fly overhead!  And I can't believe that we actually have possible snow in the forecast here in Olympia for weekend!!

I was looking for the geese too; thinking, am I crazy? I love cloud shapes; remember lying on the grass as a kid; looking up and trying to guess what they were.

Nancy,

Not to worry! We take good care of the geese here in Texas! There's a lady I know who feeds them every morning at the crack of dawn and she tells me there are many others that do the same.

Nancy, the clouds in your photo are reminiscent of the geese flying V formation. I did read all the comments just to be sure my eyes weren't missing something!

Glad that everybody is figuring out that there are not actually geese in the picture - other than the cloud shape geese that made me think of those honking formations that we see this time of year...
