I wonder if it was really turkey, or was it duck??

I just learned that the pilgrims "may" have had turkey for the first Thanksgiving dinner. It was noted that 4 men went out to shoot "foul".  Also, the pilgrims missed out on the pumpkin pie as they had no flour or sugar. The natives introduced them to pumpkin and it was probably split in half and stuffed with berries and baked. Wouldn't you love to go back in time and hand them a fresh pumpkin pie with whipped cream?

How funny.  I love reading about history.  It makes us appreciate what we have today.
