When many first mention Naples I think of Naples "proper." Or, where Naples began and grew from - i.e. Olde Naples with the early beginnings centered around where famed Naples Pier is located at the very west end of 12th Ave South. Still a great place to visit as a tourist and where the locals fish.
When shopping for a home in this area you can narrow down your search in Naples proper. Port Royal is at the very south (blue), with Aqualane Shores just to the north (green), Olde Naples (yellow), and Royal Harbor (red). Most properties in all the areas except Olde Naples offer direct boat access to the Naples Bay or the Gulf of Mexico directly from your property. Olde Naples has many gorgeous properties right on the beach too.
Single-family homes, condos, villas, and townhomes are predominently the property types found in these areas.
