1) To see if there are registered sex offenders in your neighborhood.
2) To find crime reports AND data * it will even tell you who your neighbors have paid political contributions to.
3) To detect SCAMMERS trying to Rent or Sell your home....this is a good one.
4) To see what properties in your area have sold for or are listed for * Google Maps/Real Estate is good for this
5) To see what other real estate websites indicate about your property
