I got up early yesterday, feeling fine, and headed to the beach to get sunrise shots. The clouds were not cooperating one little bit, so I was patient, greeting other early morning beach goers with "Happy New Year", while I waited for the sun to make an appearance. Patience pays off; here is my New Year's Day sunrise shot:
How pretty and a bunch of folks greeting the New Year 1st Day walking the beach. Here in our area it was dreary, foggy and rainy, but, warm. A good day to curl up with the perverbial good book and enjoy great food.

Great sunrise Carol but most telling to me is seeing all the walkers. It must have been a seasonably warm day.

Sue: There were quite a few more folks too, I couldn't get everyone in the frame.
Anita: The temp was right around 60, I believe. Finally, back to where we belong!

Out here on the west coast, our beaches are more "cliffy
if that is word, so seeing a long beach like this rocks!
Great start to a new day. What better place to be than the beach.
