I'm writing this blog from a hotel room before my daughters third game in a regional hockey tournament and what happened yesterday on the ice reminded me of what I should be doing in my real estate business...
It was the second period...our team is tied...my daughter plays defense...she gets the puck and starts to wind up behind the net...she carries it past her own forwards and into the opposing team's end...over the blue line she fakes one way and the next and she's on her own heading towards the goalie...she fakes to the left, goes to the right and lifts the puck up with a backhand shot...the goalie reacts quickly and stops the shot with her pads...the crowd goes wild not only for the save but for the excitement of seeing my daughter give it all she had...
To create excitement, to stand out, to generate more business, I have to get out of my comfort zone, create a stir a go for it. Done often enough, the goals wil come! Shouldn't we all be doing this?
