What a Day This Has Been!
When you have a birthday and you are "older" it doesn't have quite the sparkle it used to have. I spent the day at home with my Mom and ate the wonderful birthday cake she made me. That is so special to be able to share your birthday with your Mom at my age. We both enjoyed the quiet day.
My son and his family called to wish me "happy birthday". I love talking to my grandchildren. My youngest, in second grade said he dreaded third grade because it was "serious". Second grade was like first grade and it was fun. But he didn't know about third grade. He said he liked to talk all the time. He didn't know why, he just did. I told him maybe he shouldn't talk so much. He said that was the problem, he couldn't stop. What a joy!
I have to say that is what I feel about real estate. I can't stop. We have had a tough couple of years and I'm working very hard to make this year better. I just can't stop. I want to talk real estate all the time. I'm very serious about it and don't want anyone to tell me not to talk or help others with their real estate needs. Good thing I'm not in third grade.
Happy Birthday Debra ! Your grandson sounds like quite the little character :) How wonderful for you to be able to share your birthday with your Mother and that she is still able to bake. That must have been so special for her!
Debra, My daughters birthday was today also; she is now 29. She is an Internatinal flight attendant and for the first time in a quite a number of years she was in town for her birthday. We spent the day shopping for her commercialing clothes. It was a fun Mother/daughter day and you are right I do cherish those days. Happy Birthday!
Debra~Happy Birthday!! I wish I could have my Mom for just one more.... I know how you feel I want to talk about real estate ALL the time too!
Happy birthday my friend. You are indeed lucky to spend it with your mother. I'd give a lot to have my own around for one more conversation. Your grandson sounds like a lot of fun.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBRA~ I can't remember the last time I spent a birthday with my Mom. She's in NJ and I'm in CO. I'm thinking maybe I should do the opposite...show up at her house for her birthday! She would be shocked. Thanks for "planting" that thought with me! :-)
Susan-thank you. It was a nice day.
Marchel-I know it was a special day for both of you
Janine-thank you
Melissa-it was a great day
Geri-you're right. I cherish each one.
Donna-what a neat thought. I know she would be happy.
Happy Birthday Debra, Great analogy. Just keep going! Your grandson sounds very smart!
You can talk real estate all the time with us... or show us those babies... or whatever you want! Birthday or NOT!
