Kanubee, Brand your photos! Does FREE tempt you?

When the guys at 1000 Watt Consulting speak, I listen. As with my “must follow” last week, the 1000 Watt guys are AWESOME. Follow them...trust me :)

I’ve had the pleasure of speaking and meeting with Marc Davidson from 1000 Watt consulting and hearing both Brian and Joel speak at Inman’s Real Estate Connect. These guys KNOW what’s happening in and around Real Estate. New companies that are about to launch DREAM of 1000 Watt Consulting giving them a shout out.

Lucky for Kanubee, 1000 Watt Consulting did just that! In a recent 1000 watt post, they mentioned Kanubee. They rolled out their new photo editing tool aimed at us...the Real Estate industry!

In my true “I can’t miss this” fashion, I rushed over to Kanubee to see what the “buzz” was all about.

What I found was this: Northreal just rolled out their first web app, an EASY to use photo editing tool. My learning curve is tiny. I don’t want to read directions... I’m an “instant gratification” person. Kanubee gives me just what I need. Short tutorial and off I went.

What I can do: STAMP MY LOGO ON MY PHOTOS! STAMP MY TAG LINE ON MY PHOTOS. Can you imagine the possibilities here? Just listed, Just reduced, Lease Purchase, 2 Acres, etc., etc., etc. Sky’s the limit!

We can also correct glare on windows, get rid of the oil spots in a driveway, touch up that brown spot in an otherwise lovely green lawn.

I LOVE being able to brand my photos...this is a no brainer! In less than 5 minutes, I had my @Homes Realty logo proudly stamped on all of my listing photos. I like being able to "Brand ME" that this provides.

Kanubee is FREE...could it get any better? Well, sure! They are getting ready to make additional features available. According to Kanubee:

"We are constantly working on upgrading and improving Kanubee to make the editor simpler and more feature filled. An upcoming addition that we are excited about allows users to select from several pre-made color correction settings that will further enhance any property photo on the fly."

As if all of this isn’t enough, the customer service has been incredible. I have emailed 2 times and have had someone contact me with an answer. ALL FREE. Happy day!

Check out Kanubee and let me know what you think...they are NEW and with Beta projects comes a few bugs here and there, but they are improving those as we speak. I’d love for you to visit and give them a try. I think you’ll be happy you did!

Michael, You really are earning major points with me, lol. I can honestly say the MAJORITY of service providers could give a hoot about customer service....let alone a service that is FREE!

Wow, just read your newest post on Customer Service, I had to laugh, as I despise, "full of themselves" people. Yep I know a few.

I did read this on 1000Watt, and haven't gotten an opportunity to check it out.

I will it sound awesome.

We debated in our MLS committee about letting agents brand our own photos to keep the scammers from stealing them on craigslist. But, the y voted no.

But, I can still think of many places to use it.

Wonder how long it will be free?

Hi Missy, I am not familiar with all the different MLS rules but you are right saying there are many other ways to use a photo with your logo branded on it. I'm sure there are many creative uses we haven't even thought of or seen yet, and certainly encourage people to get creative with how they choose to use Kanubee.

All the features that are available on Kanubee now will always be free. In the future some more advanced tools may be added that would require a paid account, but the free version will always be available. AND we will continue to support and improve the free version.

Ann, I am glad you like Kanubee, if you want to try using your own logo, register for a free account and email me your logo(s) at mhaddad@northreal.com and I will set your account up for you.

This looks awesome. Missy said you can't brand photos on MLS (we can't do that with our MLS, and I've seen some of my photos on other listings. I don't have time to be photo police, but needless to say, I'm not flattered they "borrowed" MY PICTURES!

But, you can brand them on Craigslist or ANY other site, as long as it's not your MLS site. That will be my intention...just as soon as I am up and running with it.

Ah, another tool to use...scare me!

Hi Thomas, you are absolutely right, your listing photos can be and sadly are "borrowed" using the current system. Kanubee's intent isn't to change the system but rather provide a way to address this problem and allow Realtors(R) a way to brand their photos for use any place they are permitted. Craigslist is a perfect example of a place to post your branded photos. We would love to work with local MLS associations to give Realtors(R) an edge on marketing their services in the future.
