Your home search has started and you are thinking of building in Shakopee? One quality neighborhood that come to mind is Valley Creek Crossing in Shakopee. If you are looking for centrally located Shakopee real estate, close to schools, park, grocery stores and restaurants, this is a great location. The neighborhood has a neighborhood park on Evergreen Lane, a creek that runs through the development, sidewalks and a good mix of homes ranging from two story homes, ramblers and modified two stories.
Valley Creek Crossing is just South of Highway 169 where Marschall Rd and CR 78 meet, next to Marschall Farm. The development consisted mostly of four primary custom builders initially, but now most remaining lots are taken by national builder, Lennar. I have been through Lennar's model and you could expect pricing to be in the low $300k's to $400k price point. Covenants for the development are a foundation size of at least 1700 sqft for a rambler floor plan and 2200 sqft on the upper two floors for a two story home.
