I have been using my Wii Christmas gift now for 25 days. I am using the Wii Fitness Plus for my daily routines. At 54, I am in need of loosing weight and trying to get back in shape for my Golden Years.
I am STILL thrilled with the Wii. The combination of different types of exercises makes it easy to stay motivated and moving.
I use the Island run (I'm at 3/4 of a mile) in conjunction with my treadmill. The treadmill allows me to verify my speed and distance, plus increase my incline. I usually do that first, then cool down with the stepper plus and finish with 15 minutes of yoga.
I haven't missed a day yet. If I don't have time for anything else, I get that run in. It is 13 minutes. Since I need to cool down, I always use that time for some yoga.
If I am feeling ambitious in the evening, I will go for some boxing or rhythm Kung Fu. If I feel like moving I throw in Dance II and dance to Raining Men.
If you have a Wii, plug it in and get on it! You'll have fun and get some exercise.
