Hi Everyone.

I want to tell you about a company. IMAXprinting.com.

I've been looking for a printing company to print up some postcards for me and a colleague of mine told me about IMAXprinting.com. Looking at their website, I was amazed at their prices, but because their prices were so good, I was a little skeptical about their quality.

Not any more. Their Quality is outstanding!

I picked them up this time because I like to check out the places I do business with, plus I avoided the shipping costs. That'll cover pizza for the family tonight.

I got there just a few minutes before they closed today (they're even open Saturdays 10-2pm!), and because it was closing time, I didn't really get to talk to them. They were nice enough to carry the box out and put it right in my vehicle for me.

Next time I'll get there with a little more time before they close.

Postcards came out Great! Thanks, guys!

It's great to find a vendor/relationship you can count on for sure...not sure about print as a medium though...have you found success with it? I'm strictly internet advertising.

CIndy, just trying out a few ideas. I know things are going more and more to the internet, especially in our business, but I want to try a few things. I'd like to know what you do/don't do online though.

For Listings:

I push the listing to all of the sites through Realtor.com and buy the premium packages for Realtor.com and Trulia to increased exposure and placement ($$). I also sponsor two communities (Fishers) through Realtor.com ($70/month) to have my listings rotated in a carousel on the site.

I use Postlets to create the flyers and will post them to AR in Localism from time to time as well as have the listings feature activated on my profile on AR.

I use Tour Factory for the pictures and virtual tour and placement on my website and usually a blog about them on the blogs.

On occasion I will also advertise a listing on Facebook/Twitter either through a postlet or through the blog.

If there is a price reduction I use our Centralized Showings to notify all the agents of the price reduction.

For Keep in Touch:

I use my website that has a contact management system to email my newsletters once a month; I'm going to send you last month so you can see what that looks like. I think I have your email address.

I use Send Out Cards for birthdays and client appreciation events (i.e. Wine Tasting)

And as you know, I am a daily user of Facebook to stay in touch with clients...of my "friends"; very few are local REALTORS. I have 70 "want to be friends" on Facebook of local REALTORS, but I just really want my clients, friends, family and out of state REALTORS (I don't mind hearing about their markets..but I already know mine).

Does that make sense?

Eric,

Not only did you decide to work with vendors outside your community...you suggest other people do that.

Remind me to use a real estate person that works outside this community when it's time to buy or sell!

Jose, I wish you'd left a way for me to contact you. I did a search online and found a Jose Morales in Coral Gables, FL that owns and/or runs Busy Bee Printing. Is that you?

What you might not understand is that this printing shop is maybe 10 miles from my house. I don't consider that "outside my community" unless you feel that I need to only do business within the city I live in, without exception.

The cost of their work and the professionalism they showed made me very happy that I used them. And I will again.
