Here are the updates on Jacksonville, FL down payment assistance. Currently the Floridan Finance Corporation or "bond money" as it is commonly called is still available. It is available in amounts of $5,000 or $7,500 in down payment and closing cost assistance for Jacksonville FL residents.
There is however a new twist.......As of February 13, 2011 new home construction is no longer eligible to be used in conjuction with Florida Bond money for first time homebuyers.
