WHO NEEDS a Sitter in this City?....hmmmmm?

Baby Head I was fascinated in seeing the success of http://www.sittercity.com/index.php on the news. I have never been or needed a Baby Sitter, though I may have perused Match.com http://www.match.com/ once or twice between girlfriends. So Sitter City is the same sort of concept....Speed dating for family's in need of a skilled and trusted Sitter. I looked at the website and searched for a SITTER in Pacific Palisades http://www.palisadeschamber.com/ and found one girl with a posted hourly wage of $12-$30/hour!....YIKES!..I am not sitting you!

This is a great idea. I wonder how they will address the FICA/Payroll taxes issue. I guess we hire them as independent contractors. At $15-30/hour, I would make them sign an independent contractor's agreement and W9 form.
