Raise Food Prices...............Check

Close Schools....................Check

Lets see what else can we do, to make more Americans depend on the Government?

Probabaly been said before, Our gas prices are mild compared to most industrialized countries.  We are cheap compared to most of Europe. In 2008 when gas was over $4/gallon there was an economic impact on demand as people changed their behavior (carpooling, less trips, etc..). Shortly after the demand decrease, prices moderated, then went down for a long period of time.  I even lost a bet to my oldest son who said it would go down below $2 per gallon - thought he was easy money for me - one of the best losing bets I've had to pay out.
