- Occoquan Regional Park is just across the river in Fairfax County with launch and storage facilities
- Occoquan Yacht Club in Occoquan has storage and launch facilities for members.
- Lake Ridge Marina on the Occoquan Reservoir is popular for fresh water fishing boats, shells and kayaks
- Leesylvania State Park has launch facilities on the Potomac River.
