A thought from California

By

As my wife and i are watching the TV seeing all the damage of property and loss of life the twisters have caused. I think back of the other day, bitching about the traffic here in Escondido Ca. and the high price of gas. Then it hits me that a lot of my fellows Americans in Alabama are just lucky to have clothes on their back and a place to sleep. I pray for them and the rest of the states that was hit by forces that simple man can only hope to get out it's way. It is strange how events in other people's live can change ours as we are watching from on the sidelines. God bless the emergency crews that are working long hours to pull people out of their once lovely homes that are now just splintered wood and broken concrete. As my Grandmother always said when you asked her how her day was going. The good lord let me open my eyes to another day  and i am most gratfull to live another day, can't get better then that.

Bruce,

Well said.  It's too bad it takes adversity for us to appreciate the things we have. Our thoughts and prayers to the good people in those areas affected by natural disasters.
