Things don’t get much sweeter than they are at Fishers’ new gourmet dessert shop The Sweet Life, located on Allisonville Road in the Village of Fishers Square. 
The Sweet Life serves to-die-for pies, cupcakes, chocolates, caramel corn and Italian ice cream. And to make things even sweeter, everything edible in The Sweet Life has an Indiana connection. Baked goods and caramel corn are made on site, coffee is fresh roasted in Indianapolis by Harvest Cafe Coffee Roasters, and chocolates are by South Bend Chocolate Company.
There was nothing humble about my piece of Sweet Patriotic Pie. It was absolutely heavenly - and I’m not normally a pie person. But what’s not to love about a flaky, homemade pie crust lined with white chocolate, filled with thick custard and topped with blueberries and strawberries dipped in more white chocolate? My friend’s slice of White Chocolate Lemon Blueberry Magic Pie, featuring a white chocolate crumble crust, was equally decadent and the Oreo cookie cupcake she took home to 
her daughter was declared THE BEST CUPCAKE EVER. What higher recommendation do you need?
The Sweet Life will hold a grand opening on May 14. Plenty of dessert samples and a drawing for a free iPad make it an event you'll surely want to attend!
