What Value Is In Your Local Associations.

With the great possibility of NAR raising the dues $40 next week to support political action I have heard a lot of dialog in regards to the value of our associations.  There are people that feel that the only value is to have MLS access and others feel there is a great value.

I know I’m a bit biased because of my involvement with my local association but I know the value of mine.  I know that everyday Monday through Friday I can pick up the phone and call my local association with a question and have it answered in a timely fashion or at least put me on the right track.

I know that when my continuing education is due I have a place to turn too to get some of the best education in the country.  

I know the staff at my local association do a bang up job with coming up with ideas and programs that help make me and my fellow Realtors the best that we can be.

If you had to pay a business consultant to come to your office to help you figure things out in times of need you would probably pay a lot more than the yearly dues you pay now.  

Go to your local associations websites and see what they have to offer.  I’ll bet you will be surprised of all the different things you have at your disposal.
