I drive almost 20,000 miles a year, because my brother and I cover two counties for our real estate business. Much of our business is referrals so we travel ocean to Everglades- Pembroke Pines to West Palm Beach. That is A LOT of Time in your car.
When I was younger, it made me crazy to drive the same car more than two years, so I was the perfect leasing candidate. It was as if I wore THE SAME DRESS EVERYDAY for two years.....Its boring! I just had to get a new one as often as possible!!
Over time leases became three years, so "that dress" stayed with me even longer! When I started buying the Lexus SUV's, I finally found a dress I really liked to be in everyday for more than the three years.
MY DRESS DECORATED FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Three weeks ago I had a fender bender. Simple accident. What made me the maddest, was I did everything right. I wasn't on the phone, I signaled, looked all around and pulled out away from the stopped car in front of me (this was after the guy behind me went around me). As I pulled away into the next lane, the car in front started to roll, so I accelerated into my pull out. He stopped suddenly because the guy in front of him stopped and I COULD NOT CLEAR HIS BUMPER in time. OUCH! $6700 dollars worth a damage to my front end and minor damage to his truck bumper.
Thank goodness for great insurance with Geico! Got the rental from Enterprise (also a good experience)and put my car at Auto-Tech and Body in Pompano.
I had the most unbelievable experience with an Auto Body shop! Auto-Tech and Body (Jay and Chadia -Brother & Sister Owners) called me every 3-4 days to update me on my cars progress. I have NEVER Been called about my car/dress being in the shop just to hear progress. 
Their customer service is the best I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
When I showed up today to pick up my car I was like a new Mommy picking up her child from their first day at preschool! I couldn't wait to get back in my dress!
That is my car that I live in between two counties. It has all my lock boxes, books for committee meetings, business cards, lipstick selections, sign riders and room measure's. I missed all its knooks and crannies-like the wrinkles and stains on an old dress!!!!!
It was like sliding back into a comfortable shoe, but no...its my favorite dress...going on 6 years now!!
Sure hope I don't have to take it for an extended stay again ;-)
