Most of what you see on the SendOutCards Website is geared to introduce people to the income producing side of the greeting card business. That is not my intention with you today. This is a cost effective tool to generate revenue.
The goal is to generate
revenue for your business.
You have three types of customers: those that have called for the first time and would like an estimate, those that you have completed the job for, and those who are your advocates, referrals.
What makes a customer choose your company?
Price, quality of work, trust? Every business has quality competition that on any given day can win the bid.
So, price being close, quality of work being subjective, how do you gain trust?
After an estimate send them a greeting card with a picture of one of your clients from their neighborhood on the inside; with a special thank you for the estimate. You are providing them a reference, and doing what most companies are not, saying thank you for the estimate.
How do you show appreciation?
Take a picture of your customer.
Place it on the front of a greeting card, and send it along with a small gift. They’ll never forget that gesture. That customer is going to tell all their friends on yelp.com, facebook, twitter, you name it. Your best advertising comes within 48 hours of the completed job!

Why does this make sense?
Because you’ll have one of the few companies that care enough to say thank you with a card.
